Here is the definitive Mickey Mouse phone!
This all-original 1976 'The Mickey Mouse Phone'
was made by
American Telecommunications Corporation of El Monte, California,
for Walt Disney Productions.
This is the classic "touch tone" push button version
made simultaneously with the rotary version,
during the transition from rotary dial to the newer
touch tone version that produces varying tones as you dial.
The large phone has Mickey holding the yellow "G" handset
in his right hand, wearing matching yellow shoes.
Mickey is mounted
on the original faux wood base
which houses the touch tone dial.
The receiver still has its original coil telephone cord attached.
The phone is marked "Walt Disney Productions"
on the rear of his red shorts
and retains the
manufacturer labels on the underside of the base.
