    This annual coin set is dedicated to Japanese scenery and culture.
    The front of the illustrated cover case depicts a tiger standing in a snowy bamboo grove against a background of a semicircular wave-shape design. The back of the sleeve shows stylized clouds and waves.
    The acrylic coin holder is decorated with different traditional designs based on cherry blossoms.
    This coin set belongs to the denotation of the fourth year of Reiwa, named after Emperor Naruhito’s regnal era, which began in May 2019.
    Each set includes the six currently circulating denominations from one to 500-yen, accompanied by a special collector medal that has a rising sun displayed on two fans against a background of traditional patterns of cherry blossoms.
    The 99.9% pure silver medal features iridescent color technology and measures 17.5 x 17.5 millimetres and weighs 4.3 grams.
