The organization was founded by college-educated women dedicated to public service with an emphasis on programs that assist the African American community. Delta Sigma Theta was founded on January 13, 1913, by twenty-two women at Howard University in Washington’s D.C. … The first public act of Delta Sigma Theta was participating in the Women's Suffrage March in Washington D.C., on March 3, 1913.     A very pleasing image, rather scarce poster, it will be a nice addition to your collection.
    The poster measures 18 x 24 inches, printed one side only, rolled, very good condition with faint unobtrusive storage warping and tiny spot of discoloration at lower right tip otherwise in very good condition, odor free.
