    Description

Custom Brake Line Adapter Kit. Includes 3-port Tee, Union & Tube Nuts
PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE THIS KIT
Be aware it was created for a specific application. You may need different size fittings to create a similar kit for your application. Please contact me if you know what size brake lines you have in your ABS system. We have helped setup a similar but different size kit for some of our customers. Read below to understand what this particular kit was designed to work with.
Helpful for creating an ABS system bypass. Also called an "ABS Delete" System specific. See all details below.
This kit was setup for a 1995 Chevy Impala SS but may be suitable for many full-size vehicles including Caprice & more. Buyer is responsible to determine applicability and appropriateness of this kit and what it is designed to do and how it is suppose to be inserted in the brake system. Be aware that bypassing an ABS system is removing any effect it has on your brake system - it will not provide any anti-lock brake function. This is to done at the owners decision and probably would not be recommended as a safely concern. We are not condoning the process of doing so but only providing these specific adapter fittings to allow those wanting to do this procedure. In many cases the ABS units are either not available or extremely expensive units that make it cost prohibitive to actually obtain a replacement or rebuilt unit to repair the brake malfunction.  We have seen some prices of more than k and you will still have the unknown of whether it will fix the actual issue that your vehicle is experiencing. An experienced automotive or even brake specific specialist is most likely the best option. Be aware that ABS brake systems have been around since the late 70's and were not a mandatory system until possibly 2013. Do your research before making any decisions and before making a purchase of these adapters. Thank you for your consideration and time reading my page.... Read on below.
    Update on shipping delays:
As many may already know, USPS is having delivery delays because of the pandemic. We have added the option of FedEx home delivery which may be a better choice for those orders that are more time-sensitive. Choose FedEx at checkout if you would like this shipping option. Standard shipping is via USPS first class.
    in theory
USPS priority should also be quicker...
This kit is not a one-size-fits-all set of adapters.
Please read all details below before deciding if this kit is appropriate for your application. This kit has SAE thread adapters. Many vehicles have metric thread adapters and you will need to determine the correct type and size before attempting this type of conversion.
Contact me if you want or need different sized adapters. We can create a new listing with more appropriate adapters to match your needs if we have them available.
    Last kit for a while
This kit includes only the following:
    1) 3/16" 3-Port Tee with 3/8-24 inverted flare ports
    3) 3/16" tube nuts with 3/8-24 thread size. For inverted flare (double-flare)
    1) 1/4" brake line union with 7/16-24 inverted flare ports
    2) 1/4" tube nuts with 7/16-24 thread size. For inverted flare (double-flare)
Be aware that generally you will use these adapters with new brake tubing (both 3/16" & 1/4" sizes) and you will need to create custom brake lines. It will be necessary to cut to proper length and "double-flare" the brake tubing for a proper & safe seal. You will also need to bend the lines as necessary in order to fit them into your brake system. There is much information about doing this type of job online, in many places such as the Impala SS forum and others. Please do all your research before purchasing this adapter kit. We also have many other size adapters and can help you setup a special kit that may be more appropriate for your particular conversion or ABS delete.
This is a custom kit designed to help with bypassing the factory ABS setup. It has been created for one of our valued customers. Your application may be different. Your thread size and brake tubing sizes may be different.
This was setup for a 1995 Chevy Impala SS but may be suitable for many full-size vehicles including Caprice & more. Contact me if you need different sizes or quantities, etc. Adjustments can be made to the union size, 3-port tee and quantity of tube nuts. We also carry some of these items in metric thread options. Contact me for assistance.
    Again, to reiterate:
this custom kit may not be exactly the adapters you need for your particular application. If you do know what you need and this kit needs a modification, contact me for assistance. We can add additional adapters to this kit or create a more appropriate kit listing for you. Please do your research for your particular setup. Happy to work with you if you need assistance. We have found some custom ABS bypass plates online that sell for - 0 range. Even with those type of devices you will still need to create come custom brake lines. Another reason for some new custom lines is that generally most are 20+ years old and generally may be pretty rusted.
    NOTE, PLEASE READ:
As you can see from the description of the items included, this kit is going to allow you to work with 3/16" brake line tubing and 1/4" brake line tubing. A union and 3-port tee will help with
splitting and joining the appropriate sized brake lines.
It will not be correct for any systems that use larger brake line tubing. Some systems may use 5/16" sized brake tubing. This kit will not work with larger size brake tubing. Even though your setup may have 1/4" & 3/16" size tubing, your system may not use the included standard sized fittings. The fittings in this kit are 3/8-24 and 7/16-24 thread sizes. Your system may have 1/2" and 9/16" size fittings. Alternatively your system may have metric threaded fittings. Too many variable for us to consider so please do some research to ensure this kit is appropriate for your application prior to purchasing this kit. We carry additional fitting sizes. We could potentially setup a new listing with additional or completely differing adapters if possible.. Contact me for assistance if needed.
    Please Read:
Frequent customer questions: Will this kit fit other vehicles, my vehicle?
recent contact: Will this fit my (fill in the blank) truck, car, etc........
Hi, thanks for your inquiry. Normally I have no way to confirm fitments for this type of kit. This kit has been put together by one of our customers special requests. It's original configuration is suppose to work on mid 90's full size sedans. This does not mean that it will not be helpful with the GM / Chevy trucks or any other vehicles. Generally the newer the vehicle then more of the fittings may be metric vs SAE standard as are in this kit. I suggest that you look for ABS bypass details and thread style, tubing size, etc. on any of the appropriate forums for your vehicle. The only other option is going to be for you to determine if your setup uses metric or SAE and also what size tubing comes from and going to the ABS module that you are trying to bypass. Hope this helps at least to get you headed in the right direction.
Just let me know if you can find any details on what you need. Happy to help configure a kit that may be more appropriate.
    General thoughts and considerations:
The process of creating an ABS bypass and using this type of adapter kit there may be many variables to properly set it up. The basic principal will be similar but the tubing sizes and tube nuts may need to be different for your application. As you can see above this kit has SAE thread size adapters. This type of kit could be configured with metric adapters if needed. We do carry some similar parts available with metric threads. You can contact me if you would like to create a custom kit.
As mentioned this listing was setup by request from a customer with a 1995 Chevy Impala SS but may be suitable for many full-size vehicles including Caprice & more. At the time of the request he had mentioned that on one of the Impala SS forums they talk in detail about creating this type of ABS bypass. There are other kits out there that may be more complete or include some type of a custom plate system to go in place of or "bypass" the factory ABS unit. That may make this type of job easier but those adapter plates are very expensive. Apparently with the use of this kit with the 3-port tee and union they were able to pretty much do the same thing. Of course you will need some new brake tubing and a flaring tool. My understanding is that all of this will be done between the proportioning valve and the connections to the brake lines.
A good place to start may be a google search for your particular vehicle and include ABS bypass to see if perhaps there already is a forum discussion that goes over any of the more specific details regarding what may be needed to successfully complete this type of job. Contact me for help. Always willing to assist if possible.
