    Description

The coin in the photos is the one you will receive.
As the first year of Copper-Nickel coins were produced in Japan, most did not have what we would, today, deem a "clean finish" -- either in terms of
    surface
    or shape of the coin.
Indeed, it is common to see MS graded coins from 1962 in Japan with apparent PVC or some sort of stain on them. Very little wrong here.
The coin is also lightly broadstuck, which isn't common at all, but it isn't super-rare.
    Still, it is an excellent
    specimen
of the first year of copper nickel coins from Japan.
