VINTAGE JAPANESE 1948 FIVE YEN BRASS COIN SHOWA 23 NATIONAL DIET BUILDING DOVE

Description

This 1948 brass coins features the Japanese National Diet building (
Kokkai Gijidoh
).
On the obverse side is a dove bird (
hato
) and plum blossoms with the word 日本國 "Nihon kuni" (Country of Japan), in previous years coins were stamped with Dai Nippon or "Great Japan". The date, Showa 23 or the 23th year of Showa (1948). This coin was made only from 1948 to 1950.

good vintage condition
