The early models used the
Double Stroke
for winding the film and the feel of the operation is excellent.
The numbers on the shutter speed dial are the
Continental series
of 1/1000 sec - 1/500 sec - 1/200 sec - 1/100 sec - 1/50 sec, and not a multiple series of 1/1000 sec - 1/500 sec - 1/250 sec - 1/125 sec - 1/60 sec, which is still in common use today.
This is a USER camera, not a collector piece - if you are looking for that mint M3 - this is NOT it.

Optical system:
The viewfinder is clean and clear and remains in excellent condition.

Cosmetically:
This camera shows normal signs of use with some scrapes and dings.
Original skin is generally intact, though some corners are chipped on front and back, easily replaced by new owner or ask Repair specialist about getting and installing a new skin for this camera.

Shutter is in good working condition and fires nicely at all speeds with both curtains in good condition
